Stunning hotel one hour away...

Liked: Just an hour from London, Hartwell House is a hidden gem. The hotel boasts a perfect location with expansive grounds for leisurely strolls and breathtaking scenery. Once home to King Louis XVIII, it is steeped in historic charm and elegance.We had a lovely experience, particularly enjoying breakfast served by the very friendly staff member, Sonar. Every room is impressive, adorned with beautiful paintings and thoughtfully decorated. As soon as you step inside, it feels as though time has paused, making you want to relax by the cozy fireplaces scattered throughout the hotel.While I had some initial concerns after reading reviews about renovations, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are spacious, and for a place with such historical significance, the hotel is in excellent condition.
