Liked: Great location near the water and we had a quick check-in and check-out as well as very convenient parking. We also liked the kettle and the cool multi-coloured LED mood lamp in room. Nice touches.
Disliked: Our room was very cold when we arrived (it was February) and the baseboard heaters did little to warm it up when we cranked the heat. We tried to have hot showers to get warm and the shower promptly ran out of hot water making for a chilly stay. We raised this with the staff and they kindly provided a space heater but it still took a few hours to warm up. The room was cozy and reasonably clean but in need of a refresh as there was peeling paint, visible mold on the ceilings, and an awkward washroom configuration where all towel racks and the sink were located outside the toilet room. At the price point we didn't expect anything fancy, but the facility is in need of maintenance and some basic upgrades to meet guest comfort.
