Comfy and quiet in Portland

Liked: Hotel was well presented and staff were lovely
Disliked: Not the fault of the hotel but the un-housed in the area made me uneasy to leave the property. Would probably be good for hotel staff to acknowledge it and offer re-assurances/tips on arrival. Particularly for international travellers.Room wasn’t serviced in the 4 nights we were there, would have been good to be advised of that on checking.

Liked: I loved the incredible arquitectura of the actual building with its antique and unique high ceilings and state of the art construction that has obviously been renovated so you get this feeling of almost time travel elegance and specialnesses one gets when you can tell it’s been remodeled with such care to detail . The female owned business model I was made aware of also struck me as very progressive and ambitious in such a “Portland “ way that I have nothing but great things to say about taking my son to Portland to the first time to .
Disliked: I loved everything about it , even the things like the detail of the complimentary non alcohol drink was such a care for detail that was greatly appreciated and the helpful advice on landmarks or the library we were recommended to go to if we were looking for unique books were spot on and very helpful !

Lovely stay.

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was good for us, attached coffee shop was a plus.
Disliked: The furniture layout of the rooms was awkward and inefficient. No real place to hang clothes or lay out stuff.

Disliked: Bit cold at night but it's not the hotels fault - both ac and heater were provided.
