Liked: No breakfast as such, although they now offer an unstaffed drink and snack bar. The location is a mixed bag, with its proximity to Union Station and whatever else you may seek. This is also a "mixed" neighborhood, with more than its share of homeless and CRACKLES. The sheer ROARRRR of the crackles if you venture out at 7 am is astounding, with the birds**t that is to be expected. On the net, a great value.

Affordable, Clean, Comfortable

Liked: Location was quiet and perfect for me arriving by train and in accessing the Pearl District. Staff were friendly, helpful, brought my door dash delivery up to me, and stored some luggage for me after I had checked out. Lovely Victorian building with modern updating and decor. Loved the high room ceilings.

Liked: Everything from our arrival to our departure was special. Each employee we ran into was so sweet and personable.The rooms were beautiful. My kids had the room with 2 twins and they loved it. My room was absoultely beautiful and comfortable.
Disliked: A community-driven food hub for those experiencing homelessness or food insecurity operates on Sundays directly accross the street from the hotel. I would have liked to have a heads up this happens. I was walking around shopping and when I headed back to hotel I thought a guy was following me. I went into the hotel and mentioned this when I was told about the food hub.

Good place to stay in...

Liked: This place is in the heart of downtown, it was clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. Access to a coffee shop on the ground floor was nice, and there is a good common space.
Disliked: Parking was not available near the hotel because they were shooting a movie, and parking on the street or in lots is risky, as there is a large homeless presence in the area. I ended up trucking a lot of items from my car into my room out of concern. NOTHING HAPPENED to be clear, but I was surprised that nothing did. The staff varied in helpfulness from excellent to indifferent during our stay...
