Will be back again soon.

Liked: I am a returning holiday maker, they actually remembered me which is impressive, with how many guests they get. I was upgraded, the rooms are impressive and staff are top notch. Everything is so clean and smells fresh. The bars and restaurants are brilliant and I love The Beatles, so I can't help but fall in love with the hotel. The Cavern Club is just around the corner and so is one of the Beatles museums. I highly recommend seeing Matthew Street.
Disliked: The fact I had to go but I will be back in April.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Good and bad but there...

Liked: Breakfast was good although position of the coffee machines could be improved as access partially impeded.Ambience and reception staff were good
Disliked: We had an accessible room no 102. This suffered an often found problem in that there was nowhere to put wash bag etc as there were no surfaces. Why not? Everyone need somewhere to put a toothbrush an the ladies a lot more.It was also hidden away as an afterthought and thus immediately opposite the Cavern Pub which clearly had a music licence until 2am. Whilst it didn't affect us much many people would have found it much too noisy. We should have been warned about it by reception and offered another room if we wanted it.HOWEVER these things were minor in the face of the situation with the shower. It was DANGEROUSLY hot and the controls were so stiff my wife was unable to move them to turn it off. The temperature control did not work and there was no signage or indication which way was cold even if it had worked. We reported it to the receptionist as soon as we got down to breakfast and they immediately called maintenance while I implored them not to allow anyone to use the room until it had been properly fixed. The fact that we could not have a shower particularly affected my wife who has a bad back and needs a good shower to loosen her up.Please ensure this is passed on to the hotel management.
