Extremely uncomfortable - no lift...

Disliked: Smallest room in the world.

Liked: It was central staff were super helpful, spa small but nice
Disliked: My room was right next to a fire escape and the window was left unlocked

Liked: Breakfast was fine, location is very good, I staff are very friendly and helpful
Disliked: Broken lift, very poor lighting in the room which made reading difficult and uncomfortable, poorly designed bathroom with little legroom on the loo

Very disappointing.

Disliked: There were not sufficient Staff to look after all the guests at Reception, in the Bar and REstaurant and staff were struggling.We came into the bar after going to the Chichester Theatre, ordered some drinks and asked for some nuts, crisps etc. to be told that the hotel didn't have any so we had to walk down to a pub and buy some. Ridiculous!

Liked: A lovely atmosphere and reception staff particularly helpful. Breakfast was delicious and service friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Not so helpful evening restaurant staff. Stood around for quite a while before being seated and service not very friendly.

A beautiful hotel which served...

Liked: The staff were all charming and efficient. The continental breakfast was outstanding and set us up for the day! Our room was quite warm but very comfortable and we were thrilled to have been upgraded
Disliked: We managed, but would have appreciated prior warning that the lift was not working during the duration of our stay and beyond (as we later discovered). We consider this is something that could have caused difficulty and embarrassment to some visitors who were, like us, unaware of this fact. We were certainly not made aware of this when making our reservation, although we understood it was in fact a few weeks of routine maintenance being undertaken.

Liked: The location was good and the staff were friendly especially Jonathan, who made us very welcome. He has excellent customer service as a front-line staff, but nothing was too much for him.
Disliked: Everything was up to a good standard, apart from the lift being out of order. But I was contacted in advance to let me know which was good, being that my room was going to be on the first floor. Also we couldn't eat at the restaurant due to staff shortage on the day we arrived.
