Liked: Great location, wonderful staff and nice rooms. Aquarium T Station has an entrance right by front door. Very easy to get to the airport and other tourist sites.

Disliked: Service and rooms are bad. We booked a 3 night stay but due to a cancellation of our flight (we informed the hotel upfront) we only could stay 2 nights. The hotel reacted by invoicing us 3 nights. They mention this is not their problem. Not very deasent in my opinion.The room (621) was very outdated and the bathroom was not safe (the handrails fall off the wlal when you touch them). The room also did not reflect any of the photo's placed on booking.com of the room. It was very dissapointing for the price payed.I would not recommend this hotel based on service and quality. On the other hand location is perfect.

Convenient and a good value...

Liked: Funky place. Clean and super convenient for downtown. If you drive in, there is no valet and you have to self park in a public garage 2 blocks away. Also, no coffee in the rooms and the restaurant doesn’t open til 7. So if you have an early morning you have to go out to dunks or Starbucks.

Disliked: I knew from reviews there was no coffeemaker, so I had to bring my 4-cup coffeemaker in a backpack on a bus from NYC as I like to have breakfast in bed and don't want to dress and run out to get coffee. I live in a 98 y.o. building, so I was not aware that little ridges on the light switches slid up and down as brighteners or dimmers until a woman inbox another room told me. Room was very dark until I learned this. Shower controls were on the far end of the shower away from the door. that's too far away from shower door to reach, so I had to stand under cold freezing water until I got the water temp adjusted, so I took down the handheld hose to avoid this. Didn't know how to put it back up until another guest told me it is magnetized. Was taking showers with the hand held hose sitting on the temp handle about 3-1/2 feet from floor. i
