Harbor House Bed and Breakfast, Staten Island

Liked: I'm a repeat customer at Harbor House and I've always liked Harbor House. It's right on the water, so you have a great view of the Verrazano bridge on one side & the Manhattan skyline on the other side. The house has charm & it's clean.
Disliked: Not much. I'm an old lady and the 3rd floor walkup is something to consider if you have mobility issues. But other than that it's great!

It’s a very basic B&B,...

Liked: It took about 10-15 mins to walk to the New York City Marathon start line.
Disliked: The conditions were very basic, the key was difficult to open the room door. I spent about 10mins to find the owner to open it for me.The breakfast started a little late at 8am.Nobody is at the front desk most of the time, knocking the front door didn’t help; I had to call twice to get in. That would be inconvenient for the foreign travelers.The bed sheet was not changed, there was woman’s hair on it.

NYC Travel

Liked: Great Location with phenomenal views. Conveniently close to NYC, Chinatown, and Battery Park.
Disliked: While the restroom offered all the amenities you could hope for if you accidentally forget an item, the bathroom is communal. Bathroom is spacious, clean, and has a window. As stated though the only downfall is the sense of privacy is not there.

Liked: Owner really friendly and feeling inside building like in home ,I’m recommended.

Liked: Close to ferry, easy to access, good parking options, exceptional views of NYC
Disliked: Upon arrival, had to walk around to find someone to check us in, a lot of stairs to climb with luggage

Liked: It was clean and the host was very friendly and helpful. The view of the city is a plus!
Disliked: The breakfast was okay and the blinds were broken in our room but nothing was really bad about the stay. For the price, I didn’t think it was worth as much as we paid but overall was a positive experience.
