Perfect for a Dartmouth visit

Liked: Location to Dartmouth campus is unbeatable. Room was spacious, with comfortable beds and wonderful bathroom amenities. Dinner at Pine restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend

Liked: Been going to Hanover for years. Great location and service usually.
Disliked: Couldn’t eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant because it was “full”. Paid over $500 / night and should have tables allocated to guests. Was also never told to make a breakfast reservation.

Liked: Fantastic location, very comfortable rooms and amenities, helpful professional staff
Disliked: price point is a little expensive relative to Hanover and nearby areas.

All in all, this place...

Liked: Staff was particularly friendly and pleasant. The property was lovely; you wouldn't believe that it is a historic place. It is well maintained and our room was great. Clearly there is attention to detail. An added touch are the homemade cookies that are provided to guests daily at 3:00 pm. We visited the Pines Restaurant twice and it was a modern, classy looking restaurant and the food and beverages were tasty and reasonably priced. The overall experience was far in excess of my expectations. Location and walk score to fun restaurants, Dartmouth, and walking trails along the Connecticut River were added benefits.
Disliked: The cost of parking with the hotel is about $34 daily. I thought it should be free based on the hotel room prices. Also, there is no pool or hot tube which would have added to our experience.
