Liked: Great location. Spacious, comfortable and quiet rooms with coffee maker and kettle. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Very good value for central location.

Liked: incredibly complete breakfast selection with quality & service very good. The staff is very helpful!
Disliked: The mattress was not level but adequate.. in faucet hot and cold water ran separately - very strange!

We loved our stay at...

Liked: The location was excellent, close to everywhere we wanted to go. The standard of hotel was even better than I thought when booking. We only had breakfast on the last day but it was great.
Disliked: There were no snacks available, as advertised. The advertised refurbishment was still ongoing which was unfortunate as the fire alarm went off early one morning due to dust. To be fair tho, this didn't detract from enjoying our stay.

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: Noisy and expensive! Lost the first of two nights to two fire alarms, and the doors outside my ground-floor room slammed quite frequently with people coming and going from reception. The shower was great but too powerful for the drain (and it’s broken cover) - had to shower in stages to avoid flooding the bathroom. The bath towel on my first night was filthy and the floors needed a good scrub. I also couldn’t work the coffee machine, but that was likely my issue.

Amazing localisation and amazing people

Liked: Great localisation and excellent staff! There’s an awesome bar right next to the door with live music. Comfortable bed and cleaning service every day.
Disliked: For the price, some more commodities could be included e.g. more hanging places for bath towels. And there’s a little downside of the old buildings not being very soundproof, while you can’t hear noise from the streets you can listen a little bit from the other rooms

Liked: The room was comfortable and the coffee was very good! Excellent facilities. Shower very good and rooms clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The staff were quite rude when we came to the hotel. We arrived early and they said they would call when room was ready. We came back at 2.30pm and sat waiting until after 3pm and they still didn't approach us for check in or ask if we would like any refreshments while waiting. Very impersonal and not friendly at all.Also, the cathedral was very close and the bells were constant the entire stay, right through the night.
