Passable

Liked: I stayed in a new room ground floor. No kettle or coffee machine but supplies to make one have to ask for it but they dont tell you that.nice enough the morning receptionist made me a take out coffee .room had a skylight so soon as daylight came the room lights up so I'd recommend an eye mask .the rail and hangers for clothes as no wardrobe were that high up I could not reach them .room was cold and couldn't get the heating on . Right down The quays at Christchurch for reference.

Very good

Liked: Location is excellent, about 2 mins to Christchurch. We were heading to a gig in Vicar St and it was less than 10 mins away. Room had everything you'd need and was spotlessly clean and had a reasonable price. We have stayed here a number of times and always been happy.
Disliked: The noise of people talking in the corridor which started about 7am. We were on 1st floor and heard female and males voices. From conversations they beloved to staff and kept going on and off til about 9.30. If they were doing work/renovations in hotel we would have preferred to be warned in advance. We had never experienced this before when staying here

Hotel was clean, staff was...

Liked: Only issue we had was the lack of a mini fridge for personal reasons.

Okay for business travellers, not...

Liked: Reception staff were friendly and helpful, even late at night when I returned from the pub. However the general state of the hotel rooms isn't something that could be immediately fixed as they need redecorating, at least on the fourth floor where my room was.
Disliked: The room was disappointing. The carpet looked worn out and not so clean. It wasn't like the photos as shown on booking.com and the room had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom was okay but the fan was very loud and didn't extract the damp air and became very humid. The room's only redeeming feature was the view, which looked out over the Liffey and the rooftops, but mostly at the offices opposite the hotel. The breakfast would have been okay if there wasn't an exploded sausage in the middle of the hot food trays and the group of business people who made it feel like a works canteen. It felt like a 'business' hotel overall.

Liked: Great clean, comfortable hotel in central location. Spacious rooms with in-room coffee maker and kettle. Always good value given the room size and location.
