Overall really good, especially the complimentary morning breakfast.

Liked: Very new updated facility; loved the outlets where we could charge our phones; also the barn door bathroom door.
Disliked: The only disappointment was that there were not any make-up remover cloths available, even at the front desk. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Red Deer in July this year and they had them. I purposely didn't bring my own as they are usually provided.

The bathroom was huge compared to many hotels we have stayed in and the continental breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Disliked: The reception staff was rude and unfriendly. In many years of traveling, this is the first time I have had such a negative experience. The young man at the reception desk showed obvious indifference. Due to issues with our credit card, we were refused to make other forms of payment via debit card. Moreover, their payment system was absolutely inflexible. We were asked to look for another hotel and all this was said in a rude manner. I would like to note that this was on Christmas Day, December 25th. Of course, our mood was spoiled and there was a terrible aftertaste from staying in this place. Despite the fact that we managed to resolve the issue with the credit card and check in, this terrible memory still remained.The hotel windows overlooked a wire fence and created an unpleasant impression.The furniture is quite old. In the bathroom there were not even napkins on the first day, the bathroom accessories were not even fully filled.
