Never disappointed, always a great...

Liked: Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Always lots of parking. Super clean and well maintained. Pool is always warm and clean. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Pet fee is pretty high

Liked: Our room was on the ground floor. The room was huge, almost too big as it lacked a sense of coziness. It would have been nice to have a chair or two in the sitting area to make the space more cozy and have more places to sit. It was nice to have the extra room though. The room had very high ceilings which made it feel like a gymnasium. I feel this was not originally a room but maybe a conference room or something. It was quiet though, which I appreciated. We were not able to enjoy the breakfast due to time constraints but it looked pretty good. I also was not able to use the pool so I cannot comment on that other than it looked pretty decent.
Disliked: I found the bed too soft. I have back issues and the soft bed did not work for me.

Liked: Clean and quiet! Great front desk staff. Very friendly.
Disliked: Please get rid of the wooden cutlery! They are terrible! Try cutting and eating a waffle with them! I feel like I need to start travelling with my own cutlery!

Not our first stay at...

Liked: The room was awesome, large and well laid out. Bed was very good.
Disliked: Soundproofing between the hallway and room is woefully insufficient, sound is transmitted clearly into the room. Our neighbours were young hockey families and the kids were running the halls past midnight, very difficult to sleep.

The stay was very pleasant...

Liked: The hotel was a reasonable price, especially with breakfast included. The location was very convenient to get to nearby skiing or downtown Barrie. Overall it is a nice hotel.
Disliked: The hotel is starting to show its age, but otherwise well maintained.
