Liked: I usually love the Hampton until recently
Disliked: First of all, i emailed Hampton via booking.com a couple of times with the same matter and never got a personalized email response from a staff instead, i kept receiving their welcome message with my info on my stays. Second, after that, i called to speak to someone to get my email request done in person, and the staff was rude and spoke as if i was bothering her. Eventually, after i spoke to her, i thought the thing that i requested was handled ( putting additional check-in person's name under mine), and went on with my usual business until the day of. The additional person who was supposed to have her name to check-in called me from Hampton, saying that her name was not on the check-in list, and the front desk would not let her check-in, so i spoke to the staff again (the same female staff). She again was rude and acted as if we were inconveniencing her. She tried to ask me what my member status with the Hilton, which I personally don't know and I asked her I don't know, and she said, she couldn't verify me so she can't let the other person check in. I asked her there are other ways to verify that it is me other than the hilton member status, and she was reluctant about it. At this point, I was at a wedding and was getting frustrated with this staff. She finally asked for my phone number, and when I verified it, she just said ok. It was such an unnecessary hassle experience for me, and I was very shocked to have experienced like this with Hampton. I was feeling hostile when I went in, but all other staff (males) were very cordial and kind to speak to. I dont know who this female staff member is, but she should not be handling the front desk or emails.
