We had a problem with the room and it was taken care of quickly. The problem was not the fault of the hotel staff but more so the building itself.
Liked: The bed was amazing.
Disliked: None really.

We only stayed for one...
Liked: The location was convenient, room was a good size, beds were comfortable
Disliked: It was very run down and in need of repairs. Mirrors, paint and flooring peeling in room. Bedskirts wrinkled and uneven, mold in bathroom. Front entrance automatic door did not work at all and was blocked off.

A nice experience in Manhattan...
Liked: Breakfast was very good and varied. The girls from the front desk were pleasant and courteous. The room with the city view offers a very nice view.
Disliked: You can't draw thick curtains so the neighbors across the street can see everything you do, especially at night.

Liked: Wonderful location!
Disliked: They have a real trouble with the ice machines. The ones in the cellar, and in the fifth floor are not working at all. And the other ones only work until a certain time of the night. So if you came late after a long walk, you can’t have any ice at all.

Liked: my kids love the breakfast esp the pork chorizo.
Disliked: the smell of the room it's like old building but the rest is good and accessible in the city.

Great location, comfy, quiet, breakfast...
Liked: Clean room, comfortable bed, bathroom of decent size, plenty of hot water, quiet (!) and--unlike too many hotel rooms today--the room had a small closet/wardrobe with enough room to hang long clothing items.
Disliked: Everything was fine, really, unless you require a separate sitting area, which this room did not have. Also, housekeeping is only every second day, not daily. Some people may have a problem with this. I was OK with it.

Okay but don't get too...
Liked: Convenient location for sightseeing, slightly away from the tourist hotspot of times square and closer to Chelsea and west village for evenings out. Well connected for the subway to explore Manhattan and further afield. Our room was on the top floor and we heard very little street noise at night which was good, or noise from other rooms. Nice view
Disliked: I realise that you have to adjust expectations around value for money when in NYC - but even so, very poor on this front. 5* prices for a bang average 3* hotel. Breakfast okay for a quick snack to keep you going but nothing special. Water often not available and water for tea/coffee cold sometimes cold. Rooms very basic and only serviced once during stay. All communal areas very tired and worn. Feels very budget.
