Disliked: Much confusion at front desk regarding my reservation & payment. The $50 incidentals still has NOT been removed from my Credit Card. Room was horrible. Bugs in bathroom, in the bed and flying around lights. I reported this at midnight and was told I had to wait to speak to manager who would not be there until 7:30 a.m. I obviously could NOT sleep under these circumstances and stayed awake all night sitting in my wheelchair! I spoke with manager MaryEllen at 7;30 a.m. and she said she was “surprised about the bugs because they just deep cleaned and replaced the carpet in that room.” Manager offered me 15% off my bill, but then said she could not do that because I paid through a Third Party. She then said she would give me free bonus points since I’m a Hilton Honors member; and she “promised to do that by the end of the day.” That NEVER happened either, so I contacted Hilton HQ who told me that since I used Booking.com for this reservation that I do NOT qualify for ANY points at all! They then suggested I call the Manager of this specific hotel and “settle it with her.” I’ve left several phone messages for this manager/MaryEllen and I still have NOT heard back from her! I’ve used this hotel in the past and it was okay. But definitely NOT this time - I will NEVER use this Hampton Inn again!!
