Liked: The place was so clean, staff was super friendly, and breakfast was amazing!
Disliked: Our heat in the room didn’t work properly, had to turn it up really high to get warm, they it would be too hot! No happy medium. But literally is the only complaint!

Exceptional

Liked: The location was perfect, steps from the ocean. Beautiful views. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Parking garage is very tight and you just hope no one is coming the opposite way!

Definitely coming back

Liked: The hotel is on the beach, and anyone who has been to Virginia Beach knows that it is an absolutely beautiful beach. It is set up very well. This hotel has been renovated recently. The rooms are very nice. They do allow pets. We will be coming back. I’ve seen some negative reviews, and I’m not sure if this is the hotel that they actually went to. There was always plenty of hot coffee. The staff was very friendly.
Disliked: I have zero complaints about this property. We went from December 26 to December 29, 2024. The staff and facilities were wonderful.

Very good

Liked: I have stayed here two other times. The renovations they did were much needed. The hotel is much nicer now than times before. I stay here because it’s pet friendly and right in the heart of things.
Disliked: The only issue I had during our stay was the one staff member who knocked on my door and rudely asked “do you plan on leaving today?” At check in I asked the lady working the desk could I pay to do a later check out. She told me I could check out at 1pm instead of 11. It was Christmas morning. We would have stayed another day but my daughter and I both had to work the next morning and we live three hours away, so I just wanted a few extra hours. I didn’t care for her attitude when she was at my door. The rest of the staff was amazing.
