Very good

Liked: The location was convenient, the staff was friendly.
Disliked: The shower barely had any water pressure which wasn’t what you want after spending the day at the beach. Breakfast menu was only fair. Key card wouldn’t work on some of the exterior doors.

Good

Disliked: Sink plug did not let water drain without having to pull it up..... and hold it.

I will not be visiting...

Liked: The front desk staff was really off. Trouble checking in demanding a confirmation number and I only had a “booking number”. Tried to show email confirmation wouldn’t even look at my phone and just very off. Then the night staff was very strange when I called to see where the closest vending machine would be, I was told I don’t know and hung up on. Then when we asked a question in person he just looked at us. Very very strange.
Disliked: The room was gross, the bathroom was so dirty. The room had a terrible smell. The AC didn’t work properly and make a very loud noise all night long.

Disliked: The room we got the ac did not work well and had not been cleaned in a while there was black mold in the vents the toilet did not want to flush it took 4 or 5 times to get it to flush everytime had to use it and the beds where very hard the front desk people could barely speak English and there was no one around that could help you

Liked: It was right off the interstate. Very clean property.
Disliked: Breakfast was ok. It’s like any other hotel breakfast. Eggs and sausage were blah.

Disliked: The lady at the front desk was terrible. I saw her fighting with a customer because she entered the room where breakfast was to be served to get food for her kids. They never served breakfast as advertised in bookings. False advertisement. The lady kept claiming they did not serve breakfast because they were remodeling. False. No renovation. Simply they did not want to serve breakfast.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Pool room was HOT HOT HOT. No air. The cleaning of the room was below the standard ot should be. (Hairs in tub and on bathroom floor), the area where the floor meets the tub was icky. The headboards were not dusted. Made me wonder about the cleanliness of everything I touched. There was also a broken mirror (full sized on the wall). That should be replaced. It could cut a child. The air did not work well. It was humid, floor was super sticky (hard floors). Not sure what was up, but I used Holiday Inn Express the week before, and it was under construction and a mess, but the rooms were Great! I wished I would've stayed there again after the visit. I chose to try Hampton Inn because Holiday Inn Express was under construction. The breakfast was very good.
