FIrst time at this hotel....

Liked: Location was fantastic. Our daughter is a student at Skidmore College right down the street. We parked the car at the hotel and walked into town each day. Really convenient. Beds were comfortable. Love having breakfast available in the morning. Staff was very nice.

Great spot for a family...

Liked: The location is great. I liked my room and the downstairs/lobby/breakfast/fireplace areas. The breakfast was good. I liked that the free coffee and tea was available all day, and we could hang out by the fire and chat.
Disliked: The hot tub has been removed and the pool was pretty icky. It was fine for playing with the kids, but I did not want to swim laps in it. Lots of dusty spots and hand prints on my desk in the room, hair in the bathroom. Needs some renovation and a good cleaning.

Disliked: We did not realize parking was not included in the hotel price, also the toilet was off balance and barely flushable.

Disliked: Lighting at bar. Waaaaaaaay too bright! Felt like a cafeteria or like being on the operating table! Sooooo toxic.The bar also should stay open later. Who closes at 10 PM? Especially when there's a game on TV that everyone is watching?Our shower was terrible. Bad water pressure. Old.What's up with not providing wipes in the gym? Gross.No towels in the gym, either, but at least they brought those down when we asked for them.No cups in the gym; again...had to ask.Only one washcloth in our room (which had been reserved for four people).You shouldn't charge extra for a room with a balcony when it's under 40 degrees outside. Silly. Nobody is gonna sit on a balcony in the freezing cold.Breakfast closes a little early. You should move it to 11 AM on Friday through Sunday.In your survey, it should ask, "Whom did you travel with?" Not "who."

Liked: Excellent!i turned a work trip into a family tip combined.great place, staff and location and parking. the beautiful tow is busy and has no parking , the Hilton has its own parking lot.clean and comfortable. the place feels safe too.
Disliked: would have liked to stay longer.
