Liked: The front desk staff were very welcoming and amicable. The breakfast was decent but could have more healthy options. Room was comfortable and clean and I really thank the extra towels.
Disliked: The coffee was awful on the second day.

Liked: The location was perfect, very close to the airport. The large lobby was well lit at the time of my arrival late in the evening and I appreciated the self-serve tea and coffee bar for a hot cup of tea to take to my room. The front desk staff was welcoming and checked me in promptly. The complimentary breakfast was better than most. The room was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable. It would definitely be my first choice for a San Diego hotel next time I am in town.
Disliked: The name of this hotel is the same as another hotel about 1.5 miles away, on the other side of the airport. The only difference is this one is Liberty Station and the other one is Downtown. I was dropped off at the wrong one after my friend took me out for dinner because she looked up Hampton Inn and Suites San Diego Airport on her phone, and we were closer to the other one.

Liked: I like that we have a shuttle pick us up from the airport to the hotel. The shuttle driver was excellent. His name was Ron. He was very helpful and thoughtful of passengers.
Disliked: There was no microwave in the room. The towels smelled like barbecue meat. The laundry room might be in close proximity to the kitchen. I don't know but I think that might be the reason why the towels smelled like grilled meat.I wish we were able to have breakfast.
