It was a little bit farther from the venue than was mentioned, but had many eating places all within walking distance. Very nice hotel and staff.

We had a great stay at the Hampton Inn. Our room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. The morning breakfast was really good and so much better than the standard continental I expected. Close to several eating establishments and the Power Pavilion.

Disliked: None really.

Three months from Dec 2024...

Liked: We had two rooms- both were comfortable, including the beds. The staff gave us the rooms on the same floor after we asked. The complimentary breakfast was good quality. The location was near the airport and next to I-5, a supermarket, and fast food so it was very convenient.
Disliked: The facility was not in good condition for our visit. We chose this hotel in part because they had a jacuzzi but it was out of service. The door to the parking lot at the back of the hotel near our room did not work so we had to go through the entrance during our three-night stay. There was remodeling underway on the back of the building caused noise during the day, including a worker who took 20 minutes to scrape paint or stucco off our room's window from the outside. The shower had mildew-stained grout which is unusual for a Hampton Inn.

Exceptional

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was really friendly, helpful, and informative. We didn't get her name, but the lady who set up and maintained the continental breakfast was very sweet, friendly, and helpful. We usually stay with my mother-in-law when we visit Sacramento, but this was a surprise birthday for her, so she didn't know we were coming. We have decided we will be staying at this hotel when we visit Sac again. It was very well priced (affordable). Thank you all for everything.
Disliked: I guess they are doing some renovating. I think it was just the outside. I'm not sure, but the room we were staying in was on the backside. You could see out the window where it was gated. There was trash and debris. It's kind of unsightly, but it wasn't a big issue.

Disliked: Hotel still under construction. Contractors exiting and entering exterior door directly adjacent to my assigned room. Propped the door open with a construction piece of concrete. The hotel wasn’t with $50 yet they charged me over $200 for the night. The airport shuttle was most efficient.
