I would stay again

Liked: Convenient in downtown Providence, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and Providence performing art center
Disliked: If I had one small complaint, it would be breakfast egg sausage, and breakfast. Potatoes were cold.

Costly but well located

Liked: Location was the most compelling reason to stay at this Hampton location. Its colonial lobby architecture is lovely, but the rooms are quite dim and it's hard to read. Breakfast was nice, including a refreshing fruit salad. Valet parking is $38. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within 2 miles, which I could walk, but doesn't help if you want to eat at a traditional Portuguese restaurant O Dinis, which is 3 miles east on a highway, so ended using Lyft and Uber. Staff is nice, but don't seem inclined to use some executive initiative to ease the experience when one is spending so much for a one night stay and the hotel is not close to capacity.

Liked: The location was great, and the staff was helpful.
Disliked: The hot water wasn't working in our shower but the staff quickly responded and provided a solution.

Liked: Great location. The staff was great, especially with a special request for late checkout!
Disliked: I would love to have the juice machine available a little longer

The location and the breakfast...

Liked: Location, breakfast included, valet parking
Disliked: They did not have any water dispensers except in the basement gym room. The one water dispenser they have you can only use during breakfast, otherwise I was told I couldn’t use the water. I ended up having to purchase bottles of water. My husband and I only drink coffee in the morning and water throughout the day. If you drink a lot of water I would recommend bringing your own water. Also we got locked out of our safe, we had to wait about 30-40 mins for someone to come open it for us because there’s only 1 person able to help us and he was out driving the shuttle.
