Liked: The room was so clean & quiet, and the breakfast was exceptional. I liked having the coffee available early in the morning.

Way below usual Hampton Inn...

Liked: Even though this Hampton Inn was not that good, there were a few things that we liked: The room was spacious and the bed (mattress & pillows) was comfortable. The staff at the front desk was nice. There was plenty of space for parking.
Disliked: We have been to many Hampton Inns's, and this was way below their usual standard (we do usually like them). This hotel seems to be understaffed and you notice this everywhere. Our room was not ready for check in when we arrived 20 minutes after the check in time. Many breakfast items were empty or took 10 minutes to be replaced. In our 3 night stay no one ever came to service our room, so we emptied the trash ourselves and also got toilet paper ourselves after the single roll provided ran out. But even without the staff issues, this was a rather disappointing stay. The room was rather loud (thin walls) and I woke up the first two nights every night a 2:30 am when the person above us walked around the room for 15 minutes. There is also quite a lot of street noise from the nearby street (even at night). Not super important but annoying because of all the other things that were not so great, was that the couch was uncomfortable to sit on, and the duvet cover had a very textured (not-so-soft) surface and smelled strongly of perfumed detergent. Over all we would definitely look for a different hotel the next time we are in the area.

Liked: Hotel was clean. free parking. It was short drive to downtown portland.

It was a great stay...

Liked: Breakfast was amazing. Lot's of choices and the food tasted awesome! Staff were very helpful and meeting all of our breakfast needs. Set up is nicely laid out so as to accommodate a large number of people.
Disliked: It was far from our venue and view from our room overlooked a highway. Also, there was only one chair in the room. Should always be a minimum of two. Staff were not always present at the entry counter.

Can't wait to go back.

Liked: The staff were as good as any I've ever dealt with. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was nice and very warm. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: No complaints whatsoever.

Superb

Liked: Very clean modern rooms. Location is not too far of a drive from downtown, and for the price much more affordable then being in downtown. Rented a car so easy travel between the hotel and sites we wanted to see. Staff was friendly and helpful.
