Really rude staff
Liked: Nothing. Breakfast wasn't even that good, and just to let people know, it's supposed to be until 10am, but at 9.45 there were many things already gone, and it was closed at 9.55, so go early.
Disliked: The overall experience could have been good, if it wasn't becacuse of the very rude staff who checked us in (we arrived on Wed 11th Dec around 6.30pm). They require a 50$ deposit that has to be paid by credit card. When we first attempted to use our cards for that, they didn't work (and we had been using those cards for a week in the US without a problem, including leaving deposits at other INN's). When we asked if there was an alternative way for providing the deposit, or how we could solve the situation, she basically said that there was no alternative and that she could no check us in. When I asked for WIFI in order to try to get into my bank's app to see if I could solve it (I didn't have roaming in my phone), she also refused to let us log in to the WIFI. Basically, she was ready to kick us out, including my 7 year-old nephew. When I asked whether we were going to get refunded at least (since we had already paid for the room), she couldn't even ensure us that, and just said that that was booking's problem and not hers. Our family work at tourism, and also work through booking, so we know that in order to get a refund booking asks the company and they have to ok the refund before booking can do it. When we tried to tell her that, she kept talking, not listening to us, and so not confirming us whether we were going to get refunded or not.Luckily, we had another phone with internet, so I could get wifi from that one in my phone, log in into my bank, and somehow putting more money into my credit card made it work later (although I had still plenty of money left, as we had in the other cards). To be honest, I think it was her resetting something in the computer what made the card work afterwards, but anyway. The problem was not the card not working at first (which in the end was solved and we checked in), but the way she dealt with the whole situation. She clearly is not fit for a front desk job.

A hotel that has nothing...
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Sketchy location, zero hospitality from staff, visibly damaged furniture, boring beige theme everywhere, terrible breakfast, possible bed bugs, slow elevator, and hotel is lying about having a year-round pool - it is only heated a tiny bit and not comfortable at all if it's under 90°. "Hot tub" was not even heated a little bit.
