Great stay for travellers in...

Liked: Great and spacious rooms. OK breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Would stay again.
Disliked: Breakfast could have some healthy choices, not so sweet and with some fresh vegetables and fruit.

Pleasantly surprised

Liked: The breakfast was exceptional, as with every Hampton Inn. The rooms were updated, spacious, and clean. Free parking is always a plus. The hotel is located in an area where there is a Starbucks and a few other shops and restaurants, and it is right off the Turnpike exit, so it is convenient to jump on the highway and go where you need to go.
Disliked: The housekeeping staff woke me up very early in the morning speaking loudly in the morning. It was also very overpriced, considering you are in the boonies.

Good location for exploring Everglades...

Liked: Location was good. Room was clean and shower had good pressure.
Disliked: Mattress was uncomfortable; they really need to replace the mattress.

Avoid this hotel at all...

Liked: This is a Hilton property and has the furniture and fittings you expect from this hotel chain.
Disliked: There is one aspect to this property that anybody booking it should be aware of :There is a mechanical noise that one hears every three minutes. I called reception and the manager knew exactly what I was complaining about: “ that is the pressure in the water pipes “ he said.This is no place to go to if you want to sleep at night.I asked him if the manager if he had a solution but obviously it is an engineering defect and there was nothing that could be done.
