Double paid and didn't need...

Liked: I received a call on the 3rd of April stating my card was declined. The clerk said the last 4 numbers of the card declined, but they were not the same as the card I used to book the room and paid for because the funds were taken from my account a month in advance. I called back as I didn't want to lose my reservation, it spring break, so I may be staying somewhere not desirable or driving longer from Tennessee to get home to Michigan. I called and paid. Of course, I was double charged. When I went to address the issue, I heard them discussing another payee having said issues. Appears this could be a scam, a computer issue, or a lack of communication with booking.com and Hampton inn. Something seemed off. I'm glad I checked my bank account and was reimbursed. I'm glad a manager was onsite as well. Question is, do I trust booking.com or Hampton Inn moving forward. They need more chairs in the rooms!

Disliked: Dirty. Sheets had brown spots all over the sides. TV was on when we got in the room like staff had been in there watching TV.
