Liked: Tavern right next door to the hotel and Cat's Cradle across a parking lot - PERFECT.

It was so nice to walk to the Cat's Cradle event from the hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Also, the front desk staff was very helpful with places to eat and the staff at breakfast was so kind. They made us a sweet treat in the morning that was so thoughtful! :) Loved the experience!

Disliked: This was my 3 rd & last stay at this hotel. We were never told upon our arrival that cleaning was only every other day since they are short on staff!!! Not my problem, I don’t believe I paid less for a service I didn’t get. Room 448 smelled like humidity and we were never able to air it out, it is gross. Breakfast is mediocre and when I pointed out that the cream cheese was moldy and the whole thing wasn’t kept cold, they changed it for yet another batch of room temperature non refrigerated butter and cream cheese. We were not even done they closed the door on us without asking if we wanted to grab something before closing. And the shower in our room was leaking everywhere when in use. I mentioned it but I don’t think they cared. The front desk people are nice even though the man the first day wasn’t able to answer why our room had not been cleaned. I found out the 3 rd day. Next time I will get a rental at least I will know why I make my bed!

A good stay, with 4*...

Liked: The room was fantastic, with lots of room. The kitchenette was odd as no extras provided (including trash) but lots of storage for the microwave. The hotel is 10 mins walk from Downtown Chapel Hill.The staff were fantastic, doing their best for their guests.
Disliked: Though Breakfast is free, it is not amazing. I had to ask every day for the coffee to be refreshed. The one member of staff responsible was always on it, despite having to replenish the counters and clearing up.

Nice hotel and would stay...

Liked: Huge and very comfortable room, friendly front desk staff, nice location, breakfast included, and the chocolate chip cookie treats! We didn’t use it but the pool looked nice.
Disliked: Parking was $20/24 hrs and while its location was nice, it was a little further than I thought to UNC campus and Franklin St restaurants (20-30 min walk). A/c in the room was noisy.

Overall stay was pretty good.

Liked: Location and the free cookies.
Disliked: Pay for parking and the price for soda in the little snack area, was greatly overpriced.
