Liked: Property was well cared for, it looked brand new

Pleasant

Disliked: We were really disappointed in the complimentary breakfast. The cook was extremely rude, nothing was refilled (literally every thing was out by 8am ) and when I asked about coffee at 8am he said he was out and wasn’t making anymore. I was really disappointed in that but everything else was good.

Exceptional

Liked: Clean, everything works, nice breakfast with plenty of time to go early or later, well stocked, very friendly staff :), easily available shampoos/lotions/soaps.
Disliked: The bathroom was way too dimly lit to do makeup properly and the rolling barn door is bulky and a little loud.

Went for romantic getaway

Liked: Location, clean, and able to get shuttle to château Elan.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: This hotel was fine in most respects.
Disliked: No significant complaints. The window A/C unit wasn't extremely quiet, but it was better than most of that kind.

Disliked: Difficult to enter property from main road.

good except for the failure...

Disliked: breakfast buffet was not well stocked. out of milk, out of coffee, out of sausage, tables not cleaned, trash cans overflowing. when we came back down some time latter the dining room was still a mess. not a good look house cleaning was a failure. we saw the sign in the room telling us that service was every other day. i thought ok, what ever. on Saturday the third day i stuck my head out the door and one maid was right next door, the other was right across the hall. i told them that we were leaving for the day and it was ok to clean the room. the maid acknowledged and we left. when we returned to our room in the afternoon i was very surprised and disappointed to see that the room had NOT been touched. i called the front desk and they said that they only service the room if we ask. this is completely ridiculous. we were never told this. NOT COOL.
