Disappointing

Disliked: Toilet was not secured to floor.No brew basket for coffee maker.7 cars in parking lot and they put us on 3rd floor way at end of hall farthest away from elevator.

Superb

Liked: Staff was great. Good suggestion for dinner. Breakfast was extensive and great.
Disliked: A little hard to find. Located off a Home Depot parking lot.

Liked: Staff very professional and friendly
Disliked: Location of property felt unsafe, an abandoned motel next to the property that had many homeless near the hotel. Did not feel safe in the parking lot going to my vehicle.

Our stay was pleasant and...

Liked: Our room was clean and well stocked with towels, etc. The check in was quick and the staff was friendly.
Disliked: Could have had better meat (bacon and sausage) selections at breakfast. Would add biscuits & gravy to the selections.

Disliked: Location is in a parking lot - kind of strange and out of the way.

Great place and great value

Liked: I wish we could have stayed another day. It’s a brand new location right off of the highway. It is located next to restaurants and a grocery store. EV charging is right across the street. The property was clean. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast options and time frame were good.
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t like was the location. There is a small motel next to it with a lot of crackheads. Police and EMT service were often called. This is just a bi-part of Benton Harbor. They are cleaning up and rebuilding the city, but there are still some areas that aren’t completely cleaned out yet. This is no fault of The Hampton Inns, and conveniently, they have a security guard at the door overnight.
