Liked: Extended time for breakfast compared to other hotels. Comfort of room.

Breakfast disappointing.

Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing compared to previous ones.No bagels, no fruit, no sausage.Egg frittata not the same as scrambled eggs….

Not for people with children...

Liked: Breakfast was good and it was fairly clean.
Disliked: I booked this hotel because it was supposedly pet and kid friendly. It was neither. The manager Saturday night, 12/14/2024, was so rude to us. At check in no one stated that the dog was not allowed to be in the room by herself, I brought a kennel for her to stay in and had my child's owlet monitor camera up in the room so I could check and make sure she was alright. The manager (I believe her name was Shawn but I'm not certain) called to tell me "you're dog is in distress and you have to come get her now because she's not allowed to be in the room alone." I told her I checked the camera and don't get me wrong, she did whimper a little, but she wasn't doing anything crazy. She told me I had 20 minutes to get to the hotel and get her. So my husband had to leave myself and our 9 month old at Biltmore to go get her. After 10 minutes this woman had the nerve to tell me my dog was fine and not to bother coming back. My husband never got to go into the Biltmore house and we wasted so much money on tickets. This manager also had the nerve to compare my child to a dog stating "You can't leave a dog by itself, you wouldn't leave your baby alone would you?" And other things like “You should contact Biltmore, they’re very accommodating” “Ma’am I don’t know where you could board her, you should have planned ahead for this, it’s not our problem and it’s 7 o’clock so you’re probably not going to find anyone to take her” "Ma'am I understand your frustration, my dog would go crazy in a hotel, but that's why I wouldn't ever bring her to a hotel" like she was so much better than me. She also stated that she would refund the pet fee because my dog is a toy poodle that was in her kennel, but Celia at the front desk at check out said they weren't doing that.

Comfortable beds

Liked: We liked everything about our stay, except no coffee
Disliked: No coffee, we felt like they could of used bottled water to make coffee , especially for the price

Our stay was great, we...

Liked: The breakfast was good, could have used another meat of some sort and the egg and cheese omelet was a little cold, however the rest of the breakfast was good. The variety of toppings for the waffles was great.
Disliked: The heat being on in the room and turned up when we arrived made it harder to cool the room off.
