Liked: The staff was very nice. The location was convenient.
Disliked: The pool was closed and according to the hotel, they have asked Booking.com to post this information. Not having a pool was a big disappointment.

Liked: Breakfast was as expected for a Hampton Inn.
Disliked: The dirty sticky thing on the shower curtain was pretty gross. The shampoo bottle attached to the wall was empty and we had to call the reception. Pretty clear the bathroom is not taken care of by the team. The receptionist didn't seem to take it seriously whilst I would say if I were her "I'm coming right up" and I had to ask if I needed to come to the reception and get a new bottle. She says "Either way works. You can do as you wish." ... Didn't see the hospitality nor apology.

Disliked: I recently had a terrible experience with the Hamptons Inn in Sarnia, Michigan. I was planning a long weekend trip with my family to Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, but mistakenly booked a room at this hotel in Michigan instead. When I realized my mistake, I immediately contacted the hotel to see if they could help me transfer my reservation to a Canadian location. Unfortunately, their customer service was absolutely appalling.Despite my repeated attempts to explain the situation, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. They offered no solutions or assistance, leaving me completely stranded. I ended up paying for a room I couldn't use and received no compensation or alternative options. The lack of empathy and basic customer service skills was astonishing.This experience has left a very negative impression on me. I strongly advise anyone considering staying at the Hamptons Inn in Sarnia, Michigan to think twice. The way they handle their customers' issues is unacceptable, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did.
