NEVER AGAIN.

Liked: Honesty, I have nothing positive to say about my stay, apart from the size of the room provided, which was due to a mistake on the hotel side and it's location.
Disliked: Where to begin? It was literally the most horrible experience I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, the hotel did not have my booking in their system. Apparently due to an issue with Booking.com, my stay was not “transferred” into their system. The person at reception wanted me to contact Booking.com because although I had paid for my accommodation, the booking virtual card provide to the hotel was not working. I then called booking from the hotel reception and left the lady (who couldn’t be more UNhelpful) on the phone with them, thinking the issue had been sorted.On the first night the fire alarm went on at 3:30am FOR NO REASON and we were out in the rain for at least 30 min. The next morning there was no electricity for us to even have a shower. Breakfast was horrendous, I’ve never experienced anything like in my whole life. Food was not replaced, and I felt like I had to fight for my food. To complete this horrible experience, once I left the hotel, the staff charged my stay AGAIN under the credit card I left for a security deposit purposes only. It took 2 weeks for them to refund me, and this was only after several emails to the hotel (which remain not replied by them) and a pretty massive phone bill for calling Booking.com from the US to try and get my money back. I’m still waiting for Booking.com to acknowledge this error and at least give me a voucher for another stay elsewhere, because all of this happened on NYE and it has completed ruined my stay in Washington because of it.

If I come to Philly...

Liked: The breakfast was the best ever! I was also very happy that we were able to leave the car with the valet after check out bc my daughter was not done with dance till 2!
Disliked: We were put in a room that joins to another and they had a kid. They stayed up till after midnight and so we had to also.

Liked: Centrally located to where I was going. Clean, comfortable room. Nice bar and breakfast area plus a gym.
Disliked: Light flickering in the bathroom, and there were all types of shady people in the nearby neighborhood. Also, one of the bedroom lights was a bright white light bulb that burned my retinas.
