I would not stay there...

Disliked: First room i went to smelled like smoke and I have to switch. Breakfast was below average for a free breakfast.The room was fine. The location was just okay and there was no parking.

Liked: Clean modern rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, good variety for breakfast, walkable distance to everything you want to see in Oakland
Disliked: Every morning around 5/6 am a lot of noise from outside

Liked: The breakfast was better than average
Disliked: The cost seemed high to us even with a discount applied. The room was clean but smaller than I would have expected considering the cost.

Met my expectations. Was very...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Fitness facility was very adequate and clean. I was very pleased for the main door security measures.
Disliked: Not very pleased/comfortable with the location of the hotel, but I knew that going in.
