We had a problem with the room and it was taken care of quickly. The problem was not the fault of the hotel staff but more so the building itself.

Liked: The bed was amazing.
Disliked: None really.

Okay but don't get too...

Liked: Convenient location for sightseeing, slightly away from the tourist hotspot of times square and closer to Chelsea and west village for evenings out. Well connected for the subway to explore Manhattan and further afield. Our room was on the top floor and we heard very little street noise at night which was good, or noise from other rooms. Nice view
Disliked: I realise that you have to adjust expectations around value for money when in NYC - but even so, very poor on this front. 5* prices for a bang average 3* hotel. Breakfast okay for a quick snack to keep you going but nothing special. Water often not available and water for tea/coffee cold sometimes cold. Rooms very basic and only serviced once during stay. All communal areas very tired and worn. Feels very budget.

Liked: Bed was comfy.
Disliked: The Breakfast area is a Hot Mess, super dirty. Surprisingly its a small area for many guests eating. There was no Coffee that morning.

Fine, but over priced.

Liked: Breakfast was typical and fine, nothing special.
Disliked: Twice my key card did not work and had to be rescanned.

A good choice for Chelsea,...

Liked: Great location. Good room size for New York, friendly staff.
Disliked: No locked space to leave luggage, just by reception which wasn’t always manned. A friend trying to contact me by phone on the main hotel number was unable to get a reply.

Pleasant stay

Liked: My wife liked the breakfast. The location in the heart of the district, between the busyness of 6th Ave and the quieter Chelsea. Good food all around. Shops too. We we fortunate to be there st the weekend street market which was great.
Disliked: The room is a bit small.

Very good

Liked: Staff was very kind and helpful. The fact that there is coffee/tea and ice water in the lobby at all times is great.
Disliked: It could be quieter, but it wasn't horrible.

Liked: The room and hotel was old and dirty. The bed was uncomfortable and they weren’t going to honor my room request until I fought with them
Disliked: See above. Horrible experience. Sorry I didn’t book the Hilton just across the street.
