I would definitely recommend this...

Liked: The continental breakfast was great! It is not usual in NY city and the restaurant area was very nice and inside the hotel (also not usual in NYc). They also have a terrace in the front, which is very pleasant (even in the winter). The location was great, very close to a subway station and also to many attractions close to the times square. The staff was super helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend, especially considering the value/price relationship.
Disliked: The bathroom looked old (even thought it was clean and the shower was good); there was no space to work when the breakfast was being served (as this was the only large room available with tables, the other was outside).

The hotel's location, the room,...

Liked: We stayed on the 17th floor with an amazing view of the Empire State Building. The location was just beside Macy's department store. The cookies at reception when you walk in the door in the afternoon were gorgeous and the breakfast every morning was fabulous. Set you up for the long day ahead in New York.
Disliked: Nothing - everything was excellent.
