The Hampton Inn Lehighton - Jim Thorpe is conveniently located near the quaint town of Jim Thorpe as well as the entertainment venue of Penn's Peak. The hotel is not brand new, but has been maintained suitably. Complimentary breakfast was adequate with many selections available.

Liked: Easy access to Penn's Peak concert. Also took advantage of complimentary breakfast.
Disliked: The room was pleasant, but overpriced.

This is the second time I've stayed at this Hampton Inn and it was wonderful - clean accommodation and very nice staff.

Liked: I liked the hotel room and that it was pet friendly. My dog Grizzly had a very good time. I liked the quiet lobby in the afternoons. My son liked the complimentary breakfasts. My son and I also both said that the staff, including the cleaning service that we ran into into the hallway, was very friendly.
Disliked: The hot tub was dirty. One of the reasons I specifically booked our getaway here was tue hotbtub When I went to get in it, there was visible heavy dirt in it. It grossed me out so bad I didn't go back.Then the front desk cut me off from purchasing wine saying I was "arrested" there before for drunkenness. I have never been there before, nor have I ever been arrested in my life. When I asked who that was that can't be served here, the woman at the desk refused to tell me. I showed her my ID and told her that unless she can show me that I was the person in question she had no right to deny me any service. She later apologized profusely to me, showed me the name of the person that was cut off. And it wasn't me. She then gave me two complimentary bottles of wine. I appreciated that. And I accepted the apology. The front desk clerk said to me "But she said that you looked like her". That's Not good enough. And extremely irresponsible. And even though overall my getaway there was pleasant, the experience of being cut off and mistaken prematurely, and the dirty hotter, turned me off that I will most likely never come back.

Liked: We had an overnight trip for my wifes birthday..I told them it was her birthday and they by even my surprise had a bag with card with cookies and chocolate ...and a bottle of sparkling cider ..thank you we had a good time...
