Great room and staff but...

Liked: The room was great.The reception, lounge and eating area was poor due to building work on the site when we stayed.
Disliked: Cleanliness, welcome and state of reception, lounge and breakfast area was not acceptable.

Perfect stay for our ski...

Liked: The staff person setting up and looking after the breakfast was so friendly and hard working! Hot tub was perfect for our soak after a day on the ski slopes.

Clean comfortable overnight.

Liked: Spacious clean rooms. Big counter in bathroom, lots of space. Mini kitchen area with separate sink, mini fridge/freezer combo, microwave & coffee maker. (I wish hotels would get coffee that tastes good.) we had a King bed suite, sitting area. Furniture was nice, bedside tables with lights and plug ins. Quiet. We had an adjoining suite with family which is convenient. Continental breakfast included eggs, sausage patties, waffles and more, delish! We didn’t make use of the pool & hot tub although it looked good and people were using it. Down side was the one elevator is quite slow. It was a restful stay, thank you. Staff were very accommodating and gracious.

Terrible Experience, Unsafe construction practices

Liked: Nice rooms and hot tub
Disliked: Hotel lobby and breakfast room under construction, this was not advertised. Dust everywhere all over the lobby as construction was not property contained. Unsafe trim with nails sticking out, cables hanging out of walls. Cannot avoid it as it was in the central location. Triggered an allergic reaction. When I asked the staff to change my booking they said it was too late and I was going to be charged anyway. I did get a discount on the room but I was disappointed that I was forced to Suffer with my allergies because they did not advertise the construction. Booking com didn't help with my issues. Tried with hotel desk and also with company directly, no resolution.

Liked: Location—close to highway and restaurant options
Disliked: Construction in the lobby and the smell of cement dust. The breakfast nook had a pile of boxes — and its toilet facilities were under construction. When I commented that we hadn’t been told that there were renovating, the desk clerk insisted that the booking.com site told us that. It had not. I double checked.After I provided my credit card information, the booking.com site indicated that I couldn’t cancel without paying the full price— so I couldn’t change my mind once I saw the lobby. Not using booking.com again.
