Disliked: Our TV did not work and even after they fixed it at first it did not work the next time we tried it.

Liked: I really liked that my room wS very clean! I loved the hot cookies you guys put out, it's a very warm touch. The morning breakfast was perfect
Disliked: No matter what I tried, the TV would not work. It just kept displaying a no signal message across the screen.

Liked: The location for JMU is perfect! The front desk staff was amazing from start to finish and they did not have an easy weekend! The bed was somewhat comfortable and the room was very clean. Housekeeping was pleasant and ample restaurants and stores in every direction.
Disliked: It definitely needs updating and seems like they might have started with new carpeting in the hallways. The rooms are dated and much smaller than you’d expect for a Hampton Inn-at least in my experience. The toilet in the 1st room was very low to the ground and overall bathroom was very small. They were nice enough to change our room and it was a bit more spacious which helped as we visited for 4 nights. The elevator had many issues -not a problem for us as it started after we got our luggage up and worked when we left but I felt for the families lugging all their bags/coolers up the stairs as well as the elderly folks. All that but they do offer great rates for JMU parents!
