I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Evansville.

Liked: The room was really nice (king bed was wonderful). All staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly!
Disliked: Problem with hair dryer, but it was remedied immediately by housekeeping ;)

Comfortable with some inconvenience.

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Building was under renovations?? Front entrance was not accessible. Very small signs, not well seen, to guide you to the side entrance. Side entrance is doable, but not easily accessible. Very inconvenient from available parking to side entrances. An email about upcoming stay and construction disruptions ahead of time would have been appreciated.

Terrible experience

Liked: The staff was nice
Disliked: When I got there and checked in my key would not work initially. Went back down to the front desk and they fixed that. I walked in to one of my rooms and it was still dirty. Check in was at 3 and this was at 3:30. After they fixed that we went to our event. When we got back we were locked out of one of our rooms. Went back down to the front desk. They said they put us down as a no show and didn’t know who was in the room. Our belongings were in the room. After approximately 20 minutes they got us back into our room. Throughout the night the toilet continuously ran. When we went to check out they said they were going to comp our rooms. When I got home it showed an additional card on my credit card. I called them and they said they didn’t know why. Finally the next day that money was refunded. My initial payment for the rooms has not been refunded yet because we booked through book.com. The hotel advised that they refund book.com and booking.com will refund me.

Location good, room overall good...

Liked: Breakfast was okay. Cut up fruit had some off-tasting pieces.
Disliked: The toilet in my room didn't flush twice in the 2 nights I was there. First time I lifted tank top and fiddled with a bar and the tank filled with water.The second time was when I was getting ready the last morning to check out. The toilet would not flush even when I fiddled with the bar again. I left the tank top over the toilet seat and told the woman on duty when I checked out.
