Not good.
Liked: When I came back to get the key after it not being ready she actually was a pleasant interaction. But besides that and the GUEST who said hello in a nice tone, that was it for the good.
Disliked: We get there and the key maker isn't working. That's not on the staff though but it's on the company. Besides that the staff interactions always felt awkward and like they didn't want to be there. I get that but my God it was very uncomfortable. Best interaction was with a guest who simply said hello. Oh the water in the tub was disturbingly yellow.

Disliked: We booked a room three weeks prior to the travel date and received two confirmation emails from Booking.com confirming our reservation at Hampton Inn in Coldwater. When we arrived to check in at the hotel they did not have a room for us. It was Parent’s weekend at our daughter’s college and the hotel was completely booked. We had to scramble to make another reservation 45 minutes away in Jackson Michigan and Booking.com never reimbursed us for the room like they said they would because of the inconvenience of having to book at a different hotel after being told twice via email that we had a secure reservation at Hampton Inn in Coldwater. The young lady at the front desk was very rude to us and not helpful in providing a solution. We won’t stay there again and won’t use Booking.com anymore either.

Nice but could be better
Liked: Convenient location. Nice breakfast.
Disliked: No one at the front desk when we arrived. TV remote was taped together and dirty. It had dried pizza sauce on it. Obviously not sanitized. Rates seem a little pricey for the location. I guess because there's not much competition. Check in email was still referring to COVID guidelines. Time to update!
