Laura and the staff was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast.

Lesson learned - if you want a particular type of room at a hotel, book directly. Because we booked online, we did not get the room we reserved and the hotel was overbooked. How that happens in this day and age is beyond me.

Liked: Clean rooms; close to Volvo Car Stadium and Daniel Island "downtown" area;
Disliked: The hotel overbooked so we did not get the room we had reserved 5 months in advance. We reserved a room with king bed - we ended up with a handicapped room with 2 double beds. When we checked in, the clerk didn't tell us that - we only discovered it when we walked into the room.

Liked: Wonderful hospitality!

Liked: Breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for our tennis weekend.
Disliked: A restaurant closer to the hotel.

Liked: We went to the room and the air conditioner was very loud as if something wasn’t working correctly. We called to the front desk and the lovely guy, Mitch came up to the room and agreed that something may be wrong w the air conditioner. Said he would check and find out if room could be changed. Was a busy nite due to tennis tournament at Daniel Island. Mitch got back to us, and said that the three rooms he thought were available were not. We had no choice so spent the nite (400.00) in a very noisy room. Not the end of the world, and Mitch was so nice and caring,but since you asked….

Liked: Booked through booking.com but when I checked in charged my CC as well and blamed the mishaps on Booking.com even though the additional charge for the reservation came direct from the hotel. Also charged me for a late check out that I did not ask for nor use. Called the hotel and was told it would take 5/7 days to reverse the fraudulent charges.
Disliked: To have water and trained staff
