Not worth the deposit.

Liked: Rate was good for the one-night stay. Property was reasonably clean if a little worn.
Disliked: Required a $300 deposit for a one-night stay, nearly three times the cost of the room.

Disliked: Were unable to check in because of a computer problem where my credit card won't go through. Front desk person was rude and condescending. Spent better part of the time conversing with a co-worker, not relating to the problem. After a frustrating amount of time, we cancelled and left. Room had been pre-paid. Late that night, a charge of $300 was put on my credit card. Fraud alert sent to me by the credit card company. This has been resolved but the room charge is still on my card. Fraud unit looking into this matter.

Excellent experience.

Liked: There was a feeling of graciousness, hospitality and ease staying there. I felt really comfortable and surprised at how welcoming and generosity it felt. The breakfast was also really varied and abundant. I definitely am a fan and will stay there again.
Disliked: I liked everything.

Disliked: We discovered a bullet hole thru the picture and into the drywall over the desk in Room 217. This was disconcerting. The staff quickly removed the picture and cleaned up but still......
