Good stay but there is...

Liked: I liked the location.I liked the breakfast.I liked the prospect of the facilities.
Disliked: I booked the hotel in November and received an email 2 hours before arriving that the pool was out of service. My expressed reason for choosing this hotel over other options was that my 10 year old and her friend were coming together. They both love swimming, packed their suits, and were over the moon excited that they had the opportunity to swim in the winter. When I arrived, I brought this to the attention of the representative and was told that it was stated on the website, from December, that the pool was closed. However, I booked in November and had no knowledge of this until just before arriving. I mentioned this at check out but was simply told 'sorry' with no effort to 'make it right' as per the letter. Also, I had trouble sleeping because of the in house music that played all night. As much as I love Creedence Clearwater Revival, I don't think it's reasonable to blast it at 4:00 AM. I also mentioned this at check out and was simply told, we agree, but it's a corporate thing. Finally, the vending machine in the lobby was out of service, so there was no opportunity for snacks, etc. The hotel location was great and I'd like to return but some things need work. I'm sure you'll get there!

Clean, comfortable and convenient stay

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable and we got a quiet corner as requested. The breakfast was outstanding given the range of options and quality of the food. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire in the lobby and my kids were thrilled with the cookies and tea bar when we arrived.
Disliked: Unfortunately we were not aware that the pool was closed for renovation so probably would have scheduled our stay for another time.
