Exceptional
Liked: From check-in to checkout we had a wonderful experience. They were very welcoming to us and our dog. The location is perfect for enjoying downtown Blue Ridge. Definitely worth a little extra for a French balcony room. Just check the train schedule if you’re not an early riser. We loved the train, but some may not. 10/10

Liked: It was very clean and in close proximity to the main part of town.
Disliked: It was quite expensive, especially for a Monday night reservation and with all the add-on fees… It appears the rates are significantly hiked due to the lack of other options in the immediate area…

If you are going to...
Liked: Central location, breakfast was outstanding, staff was exceptional, bed was comfortable, in the 24 hour hot chocolate and coffee.
Disliked: Very expensive for a Hampton. For a weekday night it was $331. if we stayed on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, it would’ve been over $500 for one night.

A cozy and scenic view...
Liked: We didn't get breakfast and slept in. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway was right outside our window and was a very nice historic touch and hearing the loud train horn was nice, since my son loves trains. I wish we had more time to ride the train, but we will return to tour. The views were scenic for the trees turning fall colors. Great location! Modern hotel was decorated nice and clean. Also, they accommodated an early check-in so that we could change for a wedding. We liked the parking gate access to the lot in front of the hotel.
Disliked: Nothing bad and all good. We liked everything.
