Despite an absolute horrible check...

Liked: Overall, the property is great!
Disliked: No complaints physically. We had a horrible check in experience. We have the same last name as another guest and that guest checked in somehow with my booking and paid with their card. When we checked in we were told it was paid for and I asked three times for confirmation because my card hasn’t shown charges. The front desk attendant was not able to confirm my card but someone else’s. So we thought because of travel arrangements our room was paid for by the group we were traveling with. When we found out this was not the case, we were told over the phone, that the other person that checked in was going to be out of a room because we used an ID to check in and he did not. We couldn’t enjoy our dinner or night out with friends because of this whole misunderstanding. The only other complaint that I have is the AC. It worked however it kept shutting off during the night and the room would get hot and it was too quiet . We got about three hours of sleep the whole night. I tried multiple times to run the fan only and was not able to get it going. Rough night. Rough morning. Despite all of this, the staff was excellent!
