From front desk to valet parking, wait staff were excellent; will stay there in future visits.

Convenient location with many bars and restaurants close by. Three blocks from the River Walk and baseball field. MPAC is across the street. Clean room and a comfrotable bed.

Liked: Friendly staff; clean.

Liked: In need of remodeling. Window seals paint cracked, peeling and crusty. After giving this hotel a second chance, I was still disappointed changes were made from last year.

Disliked: Rooms were freezing cold, 45 degrees in rooms, changed rooms 3x. Rooms were heavily soiled in commode, bath tube dirty, beds had been slept in . Etc. We took pictures. Plus, I had tipped valet $20, only for us to have be moved to another property- Doubletree Hotel in the area 2 hours later. We got bear minium service there as well, no breakfast comp, we were tild we had to pay for and no reward points granted to us. Plus, one guy, Randy, is running the Hampton Inn suites desk was being very unprofessional. Making us feel as though he was trying to service us by controlling heat issue. Also, the rooms had been smoked in. Soiled carpet etc, we took pictures. He finally visited the last room assigned and was in outrage about housekeeping, which the issue was the deplorable situation that was given to us 3x.
