Disliked: We had to go to the front desk to active our room key every single night. It was inconvenient and they shut the water off late night and not sure why.

Liked: My sister and I chose the property because it was a Hilton property (albeit rated at 3.5), and the location was excellent. We selected a suite with sitting area and separate bedroom. When we were shown our first room (403), we were shocked. There was a strong chemical and musty smell in the room. I started coughing almost immediately. Then we noticed that the sofa was literally threadbare around the seating cushions. The sitting area was dark as the only outside window was in the bedroom. We decided this was totally unacceptable for our stay. My sister went to the front desk, and after some explanation, we were moved up to the 6th floor, the top (business) floor, without extra charge. This room had no musty smell, no worn out sofa cushions, and was much brighter. An acceptable alternative. And the room was well cleaned each day. The buffett breakfast was acceptable as we stuck with yoghurt, fresh fruit, and cereal. The location, just a block from the Zocalo, was fantastic. The pictures online gives the impression of a roof top lounging area. It was there, but not set up or lit up.

Liked: It's a nice hotel in a great location. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is very good. Beds are comfortable.
Disliked: Rooms could use an update. Room A/C not working well during our stay.
