Avoid this hotel during construction

Liked: Location was convenient.
Disliked: It is under construction and the checkin was moved from a location with clear dry sidewalks and parking to a side door reached by uncleared sidewalks covered by ice and surrounded by parking and drives not cleared and covered by ice. I slipped on the ice, twisted my ankle and nearly fell. Meanwhile the main entrance was not under construction so why could we not use it? We checked in and entered the dirty elevator with a strong smell. We got to the 3rd floor and the hall was full of construction debris. In front of our assigned room we heard pounding of demolition in the adjacent room. We were moved to a room on the fifth floor, quiet until about 10 when noise of moving furniture or heavy equipment came from next door. I tried to call the front desk but the phone did not work. When we checked out the staff ignored my husband while chatting with a friend. She did not ask how our stay was .

Will not be staying again.

Disliked: When we first arrived we were told there was construction no problem. Until he didn’t explain the accident charge going on the account. One elevator the walls were held with tape. We were SLEEPING when the fire alarm started going off we woke up rushed down stairs for the front dest worker to tell us there’s no fire but nothing they will do about us being out of our room now 4 hours before checkout. Forced to leave and checkout.
