Convenient and clean

Liked: Small town and location chosen for proximity to McDonald Observatory. Big room and friendly staff.
Disliked: Not really close to anything in town but also came in late and not much open. Only dining option suggested was one across the street. Was pretty good but without any other suggestions, wasn’t sure if that was the only option or only open option or only one considered decent.

Great for our travel needs.

Liked: Just like all other Hampton Inns. Nice to not have to search for a quick bite before getting on the road. Selection was adequate to find something for everyone.
Disliked: All was good.

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice...

Liked: The hot breakfast on the first morning was excellent. There were plenty of choices available. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV had lots of additional choices for popular movies. Staff was very friendly. A nice restaurant across the street offered delicious food for dinner.
Disliked: One main reason why we booked this hotel was to be able to swim in the indoor pool and soak in the whirl pool after a long day at the Big Bend National Park. Both facilities were not operational during the weekend we stayed there.
