Liked: The room was clean and perfect for my stay and the staff were very helpful. The locals are friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced and the hot pork scratchings are delicious.

Nice little stay

Liked: The staff were really nice and so friendly, the person serving behind the bar was very nice and we had a conversation each time. The value for money is great, you get what you pay for, as the saying goes. Cheap and cheerful. The chef was so lovely and friendly and the food was so good, the bacon in particular was lovely and my 2 year old even stole my sausage as it was so nice.
Disliked: The room was cold in the night but that's to be expected with the listed building. There was no hand soap in the bathroom to be able to wash your hands (we always have hand sanitizer so could be worth packing some). Although the breakfast was nice, maybe just the option for a bit more if wanted, like a small option and large option with a difference of pay?
