This was a very clean hotel. Security was good, but the guests were not prevented from attending breakfast inappropriately dressed! It was a bit pricey considering it's quite basic really.

Liked: Check-in was easy, rooms were clean
Disliked: No 'bacon' for the English breakfast as apparently, it's not on the menu. Also, whole families of guests coming to breakfast in PJ'S that they've slept in all night. Very young children operating red hot waffle machines and touching buffet food, but not taking it. People sitting bare foot, crossed legged on sofas to eat breakfast - where is the etiquette? This is England, Great Britain after all! No fruit tea's at breakfast or in the rooms either.

Very clean and well situated....

Liked: Conveniently located for work, lots of restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable, very nice shower.
Disliked: The buffet breakfast was fine, not the best but also not the worst l.

Nice newer hotel

Liked: The hotel overall seems quite new. Everything is fresh and not dumped like many other places in London. The breakfast was good with all necessary things for me. The bed was very comfy with good matress.
Disliked: Though the room had the window, it could not be fully opened and it was covered with some foil, so nothing could be seen through it. So basically it was a no window room.

Liked: Room was clean, the breakfast was good
Disliked: Localisation, the hotel is in really bad area. When I left Whitechaple Station the way to the hotel was really bad. Do not recommend to walk this way after sunset alone. I would recommend to book any other hotel closer to Algate station. 500 m makes a diffrence. The other issue was with the room. We booked it ca 4 months in advance, asking for 2 separate beds on the highets possible floor. At check-in they made evertything to give us a single bed. And when strongly requested 2 beds we got room on the ground floor. I do not belive that the hotel could not manage our request in advance taking the fact that we booked 4 months in advance.
