Liked: Breakfast was good with plenty of variety
Disliked: Unfortunately I left a pair of earrings in the room I rang to try and retrieve them but the helpful receptionist I spoke to was unable to locate them. But my husband and I knew exactly where I left them sentimental value

we went to see family,...

Liked: simple to check in
Disliked: lift walls were dirty, some one had rubbed mud/dirt on walls. other lift was ok.

Bloody awful

Liked: I only slept a couple of hours on the saturday night as the mattress is not very comfortable and the same on the Sunday, I have a really bad back and I had to drive 300 miles back home
Disliked: The mattress

Apart from the check-in hurdle,...

Liked: Great hotel. Fantastic location. Clean and serene. Friendly staff too. Breakfast was my best part though! Loved it!!
Disliked: Check-in was weird as we were told to present an I.D for my wife before we could check-in together. This was really weird especially because I already booked and paid for the room online. And I paid for a room for 2 Adults!! So why not ask for an ID before booking confirmation or at least instruct clients to come with IDs.
